Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Arcadia Round Barn. Led by members of the Arcadia Historical and Preservation Society board, volunteers give guided tours, operate the gift shop, do much of the property maintenance and coordinate special events such as live music concerts and vintage automobile rallies.

The Round Barn is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week, and volunteers are always on duty to answer your questions and ring up your gift shop purchases.

The Round Barn is always looking for new volunteers. You don’t have to be retired, because weekend shifts are available. Volunteers work three-hour morning shifts or four-hour afternoon shifts and can work as little as one shift a month. Most volunteers work one or two days a week because they love being at the barn to greet our visitors from across the world. For more information about becoming a volunteer, contact
